How many years have you been teaching or working in education? In Summit?
I've been working in education for eight years, teaching for four, and this is my third year at Summit.
My favorite things about working with students are:
I love seeing how students are endlessly creative, constantly growing their thinking and showing the innovative ways that they learn, and seeing their interests appear in everything they do.
A few interesting things about me:
I enjoy traveling, going to concerts, photography and writing. My favorite places so far that I've traveled to are New Zealand and Hong Kong. I enjoy running, playing volleyball, and playing video games and tabletop games with my friends.

This will be my 11th year in Education and my 4th year at Summit Elementary!
My favorite things about working with students are:
I love making connections with students and seeing their growth both academically and socially/emotionally thorughout their time in elementary school. Creating a bond with students over shoes, clothes, extracurricular hobbies and inside jokes makes the building feel warm and inviting to all. I love greeting all students and staff with a smile and a compliment every day.
A few interesting things about me:
I am currently expecting my second son in November, love a good book when there is time, and baking with my family. I love a good board game (Wingspan!) and riding bikes when the weather is nice.

A few interesting things about me:
My husband's name is Casey. We have 3 daughters. Maddie is a freshman in college this year, Emma is an 9th grader and Kaylee is in 6th grade. We have 2 doodles--Hank and Ozzy. I love the Summit Community, and I am so proud to work here
