“When Loving Your Child Is NOT Enough”

We all have the best of intentions, but often what can make the biggest difference in our children’s lives is ACTION. Les Franklin will share ways that as parents we can put our love into tangible action so we  know what is going on in our children’s lives and help them when needed. Learn how to listen to them, find out about their friends, and become alert to changed behavior. All this and more can make a difference in your child’s life.

Les Franklin founded the Shaka Franklin Foundation for Youth in 1990 in memory of his son. He fulfilled his dream to create a center where all children in need will be welcomed, protected, educated and loved. Mr. Franklin has been active on numerous boards, committees, commissions and councils to address education, youth issues and economic issues. In his national exposure, Les Franklin has expressed his concerns about the loss of youth through self-destructive behavior. Information on the Shaka FranklinFoundation can be found here

Presentations are held the first Tuesday of each month and are FREE.
